Abstract
Mejan Ompung Mardugu Banjarnahor (Toga Sehun) is a Cultural Heritage Site (CB) in the form of a mejan/statue and several objects or guri-guri which is burials or secondary burials that have historical and cultural value. That the mejan and guri-guri or also called parabuen place are considered to have noble value as historical relics from a secondary burial which is part of Indonesian history, which is also supported by community data and is very important in efforts to develop science, history, culture, and character strengthening and can also be developed in the tourism sector at provincial, national and international levels. This research was carried out as an effort to protect existing cultural heritage objects; hopefully they will remain preserved from various types of damage. The Mejan Ompung Mardugu Banjarnahor Cultural Heritage Site was cleaned of various moss, then recorded according to the existing objects found, the findings were analyzed (saved by record), and carried out qualitatively by looking at the aesthetic value and looking at the purpose of the arrangement of the containers (guri-guri). The container (guri-guri) is related to secondary burials and the influence of Indian culture in them. The deceased person is then burned, and the ashes are placed in a container (guri-guri). The Mejan is a stone statue in the shape of a human riding an elephant. The elephant is likened to the God Indra (the god who rules the east side of the compass) and this is in accordance with the facing direction of the mejan which faces east. The part of the hole is given pupuk to revive the mejan. It can be concluded that the Mejan Ompung Mardugu Banjarnahor is important evidence of historical and artistic and cultural heritage that has a history of civilization humans in ancient times.
